Once again, it is Christmas in July! Unlike most holidays, however, you won’t be celebrating with your family eating turkey and dressing. Instead, if you are anything like us you will be fervently glued to your computer screen, pushing the refresh key, and furiously pumping your fist with the insane amount of sales that are taking place.

Whenever I write an article, I have one goal in mind: to produce a piece of content that will help our readers solve a problem.

I also like being the bearer of good news. Unfortunately, I can’t always be the white knight. The news can’t always be good. Where there is daylight, there is eventually darkness.

There isn’t a ton of literature about what to do once you receive an Amazon warning, but there is quite a bit on how to prevent it. In fact, you can read our blog article about prevention here.

Let’s imagine you have received a warning. Bear in mind, if you sell on Amazon and sell lots of products you will get a warning at some point. It is not anything to fear, just something you will need to deal with.

This is a notification sent by Amazon to let you know a product you carry has had information on its detail page altered. As an Amazon seller, it is your responsibility to make sure your product is correctly represented by the Amazon detail page, so the customer will receive the exact product they ordered.

I was reading through some of the older posts in our Facebook group today, and came across one of the more interesting ones I had written. I am passionate about the concept of how your mindset relates to your business, and how that can affect its trajectory.

In my opinion, people have one of two mindsets:

They settle, or they strive.

As you can guess from our site (and the title of this article), we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity that selling on Amazon offers.  We started our business in 2011 with a $600 credit card, and high hopes for eventually making enough money as a side hustle that we could pay for things like vacation. In just five short years, our business has done more than $13m in sales on Amazon, and has grown to a fulltime business which allows us to employ several people.

That’s kind of like the ‘American Dream!’ Thanks a boatload, Amazon!

The single thing I find most intriguing about Amazon businesses, or entrepreneurial-style businesses in general, is there are so many ways to do the same thing. The question that we are asked most often is “how do I find wholesalers?” The problem with this question is it does not take into context the different types of wholesale businesses that can exist. In this article, I will describe the different types of wholesale, and describe the model that we subscribe to.

Amazon has become a target, that much is clear. Hackers are working to break into sellers’ accounts because of the massive amounts of money that 3P sellers are generating. This makes a nice, juicy target for the hackers.

As a few of you may know, we just held our second TWF Live event. The event turned out to be everything we hoped for and more. We truly do want to thank everyone who attended. It means a lot to us that people took time out of their busy schedules and lives to hang out with us for a weekend.

The people who attended the event were all-stars. Present in mind and body, ready to learn, and participating. I was shocked at how well this group of awesome folks immersed themselves into the atmosphere, as well as getting involved networking with other attendees. It was truly a sight to behold and honestly, we were honored to be a part of such a great experience!

We talk to hundreds of entrepreneurs daily. Some are selling on Amazon, but many who haven’t started that leg of their personal journey yet. Most of those who aren’t yet selling on Amazon don’t realize Amazon will literally tell you what to sell.

Think of it from this perspective, if you can look at a product and know that it is selling well – all you have to do is go out and find that product cheaper. If you can do that, the distance between your buy price and sell price (minus applicable fees) is your profit. Amazon tells us what to hunt, all we have to do is find it cheaper and make money.
